When we find ourselves pleading for something – begging or appealing – we have some extreme need for whatever is represented. This might, for instance, be some kind of assistance or sanctuary.
More negatively, emotions, drives and thoughts which have been ‘starved’ in our waking lives can often appear in dreams personalized as a beggar – that is begging for attention.
